CS2 fantasy scoring: two real match examples

Fantasy CS2 scoring turns real match statistics into points. These two ClutchKing examples show how kills, deaths and role-specific contributions add up—and what to check before choosing your next roster.

Start with the scoring rules for your event

The examples below use the Default Rifler and Default AWPer models saved for Thunderpick World Championship 2026. They cover Dust2 in FURIA versus BetBoom on 18 October 2026, which FURIA won 13–6. These are single-map totals, not the players’ totals for the series or event.

An event or community league can use different scoring rules. Check the rules attached to the competition you are entering. A player's role and selected scoring model matter; a high match rating is not itself the fantasy-points formula.

Example 1: KSCERATO earns 81 points as a rifler

KSCERATO recorded 21 kills and 8 deaths on this map. Under the event's Default Rifler model, those two statistics contribute 39 points. His other contributions bring the total to 81.

StatisticRecorded valuePoints per unitContribution
Kills21+3+63
Deaths8−3−24
Clutches won0+50
Assists10+1+10
Opening kills2+3+6
Multikill statistic7+3+21
Flash assists5+1+5
Total81

The calculation is 63 − 24 + 0 + 10 + 6 + 21 + 5 = 81.

The table uses the recorded multikill statistic consumed by ClutchKing's scoring system. It should not be read as seven additional kills. Assists and flash assists are also separate scoring entries: the model applies both weights to their recorded values.

The useful roster lesson is that a kill–death line alone does not explain a player's fantasy output. Here, opening kills, multikills and assistance contribute another 42 points.

Example 2: molodoy earns 43 points as an AWPer

molodoy finished the same map with 15 kills, 9 deaths and 7 AWP kills. His Default AWPer model rewards AWP kills and uses a larger death penalty than the Default Rifler model.

StatisticRecorded valuePoints per unitContribution
Kills15+3+45
Deaths9−4−36
Clutches won0+50
AWP kills7+2+14
Opening kills2+2+4
Multikill statistic4+4+16
Total43

The calculation is 45 − 36 + 0 + 14 + 4 + 16 = 43.

AWP kills already belong to the overall kill count. In this model they also earn an additional role-specific bonus. Do not remove them from the kills row. Assists are not an entry in this particular AWPer formula.

Turn the examples into better roster decisions

First, compare players using the scoring model that will apply to your roster. The same statistics can produce different totals under Default and Support models.

Second, examine several recent matches and their opponents. These examples explain the arithmetic; one strong map does not establish future performance or consistency. Check the sample size and whether the player’s role has changed.

Third, consider price alongside likely opportunities to score. Neither table includes a roster price, so 81 versus 43 does not tell us which player offered better value. Review the event's actual prices, eligible roles and schedule before choosing.

Finally, check roster availability. Once the market closes, the event's entry and substitution rules determine what you can change. The fantasy rules and team builder help you prepare; the event page confirms the rules and availability for your competition.

Sources and scope

The examples were checked on 25 October 2026 against ClutchKing's saved map statistics, event scoring snapshot and player-points breakdowns for FURIA versus BetBoom. Both totals were recalculated with the scoring engine. The examples describe the Default models used for that event; they are not a forecast or a promise that every league uses these weights.
